Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service govern the conditions and procedures for using LINK BAND products and related services (website, SDK, apps, Admin dashboard, etc., hereinafter 'Services') provided by Looxid Labs Inc. (hereinafter 'Company'), and define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users.

Article 2 (Definitions)

• User: Any person who uses the Services provided by the Company under these Terms
• Member: A person who has registered as a member by providing personal information to the Company
• Services: All online and offline services provided by the Company, including LINK BAND website (linkband.looxidlabs.com), Admin dashboard, SDK, LINK BAND Studio, and LINK BAND Cloud
• Paid Services: LINK BAND product purchases, SDK licenses, Cloud data storage, and other paid services offered by the Company

Article 3 (Effectiveness and Modification)

These Terms take effect upon posting on the Service screen or by other means of notice to users. The Company may modify these Terms as necessary, and the modified Terms will be announced on the website at least 7 days before taking effect. Users who do not agree with the changes may discontinue use and withdraw from the service.

Article 4 (User Obligations)

• Users shall comply with applicable laws, these Terms, and any notices or guidelines provided by the Company.
• Users shall not engage in the following conduct in connection with the Services:
  • Impersonation or theft of another's personal information
  • Interference with the normal operation of the Services
  • Infringement of the Company's intellectual property rights
  • Distribution of illegal or harmful content through the Services
  • Reverse engineering, unauthorized modification, or distribution of the SDK

Article 5 (Service Provision and Interruption)

The Company aims to provide Services 24/7 year-round. However, the Company may temporarily suspend Services for unavoidable reasons such as system maintenance, replacement, failure, or communication disruptions, and will provide notice before or after such suspension.

The Company may modify or discontinue all or part of free Services according to its policies without separate compensation to users. Paid Services are governed by separate terms.

Article 6 (Payment)

Payments for Paid Services are processed through PayPal (USD, global) and Toss Payments (KRW, South Korea). All prices include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated. Shipping fees are charged separately.

Payment-related disputes shall follow the respective payment gateway's terms. For detailed refund policy, please refer to Refund Policy.

Article 7 (Intellectual Property Rights)

All intellectual property rights related to the Services, SDK, API, software, documentation, design, trademarks, and logos provided by the Company are owned by the Company. The SDK is released under an open-source license; however, separate licensing terms may apply.

Users may not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, or allow third parties to use the Company's intellectual property without prior written consent.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

• The Company is not liable for failure to provide Services due to force majeure events including natural disasters, war, terrorism, hacking, or government regulation.
• The Company is not responsible for service disruptions caused by the user's fault.
• LINK BAND products are not medical devices and should not be used for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.
• The Company is not liable for interpretations of biometric signal data collected via the SDK or decisions made based on such interpretations.

Article 9 (Dispute Resolution)

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. In the event of a dispute, both parties shall negotiate in good faith. If no agreement is reached, the competent courts of the Republic of Korea shall have jurisdiction.

Supplementary Provisions

These Terms shall be effective as of May 10, 2026.
